India - Acknowledging The True Republic Day!

Republic Day commemorates the spirit of independent and individual India & the citizens' power to choose their government democratically.

“a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch.”

The essence behind the celebration of Republic day is not only to celebrate India’s secularism and democracy but also to make us feel proud of our culture, languages, social norms, traditions, customs, religions that make India a wonderful multi-cultural country.

Republic Day is a time to enjoy the culture, recognize people who have made an attempt to put their lives for others sake, maybe derive inspiration from it.

Making India Inspiring

I have a few ideas which people can adopt to make ourselves stronger and country a better place.

Meditate. Meditation is the food for mind and soul. It is one of the way to achieve inner peace because world peace begins with individual peace. So we all can create good vibes, good deeds and all that makes an impact on the country.

Cleanliness. A messy area is breed to many health hazards. In turn, it indirectly effects the environment. Practise personal hygiene and care for the environment like reducing plastic/hazardous product consumption & planting saplings to knock off pollution which will eventually bring the Green India.

No to Bribes. If you take or give a bribe from or to anyone, it ultimately leads to corruption. Break the mindset of doing things in a timesaving route & report any corrupted individual whom you noticed.

Right to Vote. Every person should cast their vote. This is the fundemental right and our duty to the nation. Elect the truthful representatives that oppose poverty, corruption, pollution & keep up literacy rate, women welfare and, basic sanitation.
