A beautiful song that have turned the tables on the characters.

Namaste.
Idhera, the most important song in the movie, plays a crucial role in turning the tables on the central characters. Written by Ramajogayya Sastry (RamJo) garu, rendered by Mohit Chauhan, scored by Radhan, this song is a perfect blend of Western rock and Indian instruments.
There’s something magical and pristine about the mountains that makes you question about your life. Perhaps, that’s why a lot of people go on a spiritual quest deep into the mountains, hoping that they would find the answer to, the most important question of their lives – What’s the purpose of my existence in this universe? This is precisely the essence of Director Nag Ashwin’s superbly-layered 'Yevade Subramanyam', which traverses the life of a young man, who go on a adventure to 'Doodh Kosi' to mix his friend Rishi's ashes, meanwhile, he tries to find who he really is.
The song can be considered as Rishi singing it to his dearest friend Subramanyam (Subbu). Let’s jump into the lyrics and find out what Rishi has to offer for us:
O manishi..O maharshi..
Dear man, Dear monk
Kanipinchinda udhayam?
Did you find the sunrise?
O manishi..O anveshi..
Dear man, Dear explorer
Velugayyindha hrudhayam?
Did your heart see the light?
Anandham kanneerai jaarina kshanamidhi..
This is the time for happy tears
Nalupantha matu maayamainadhi
The darkness has gone
Ne pranam, iroje marala oopiri pondhi..
Your life has incarnated today
Thanavero kanugonnadhi
Has discovered who you are
Idhera..Idhera..gelupante idhera!
This is the definition of victory
Andisthu pondhavo..brathukantha premera!
Your life has love, if you take from what you give
Rishi is calling his dear friend Subbu, and mocks him as a saint for subbu flaunts himself as an intelligent person. He asks subbu if he had finally woken up or not, to see the simple, true, and beautiful nature of the world around him. He also calls subbu as an explorer and asks if he could see the true meaning of success, in the journey to Doodh Kosi, subbu lands himself at a place where he could see the sunlight.
The time of happy tears, where subbu meets a new-born baby, the moment of catharsis for him. That was the moment of vanished darkness and his life and soul found a new meaning. Rishi says, this is what life is all about, by helping others and spreading love! ❤️
Vadhalanidhe ne swardham
If you don't give up selfishness
Kanapaduna paramardham
You don't get to see the reality
Manushulani gelichedi..preme kada
You can win humans with love
Preme manavathvam
Love is humanity
Preme daivathatvam
Love is divine
Jeevincheti daare idhi!
This is the way to live a life
Rishi says, one can't live a happy & peaceful life with the materialistic things like ego, selfishness etc. One should let go of these things to know the purpose of their lives. He says love is how you triumph life. Love is humanity, it is divinity and it is the way of life.
Yedha sadilo nijamundhi
There is truth in your heartbeat
Kanuthadilo nijamundhi
There is truth in your tears
Adugadugu gudi undhi..prathi manishilo
There is a temple in every human
Nivedinchu pranam
The soul is requesting
Daivamtho prayanam
Journey with the god
Saagisthundi ee jeevitham!
This life will go on..
The truth and love are in everything we see around us, he says. The fact that the new-born’s heart beats and the fact that Subbu cried his heart out when he laid eyes on that baby is nothing but a symbolism of Love. Rishi says subbu that Doodh Kosi is not a temple but a place where one finds themselves. He reminds that God, Love are in every person and life will mean something only if we share our godly nature and love to the everthing around.
